Inside the course
A clear route from overload to a workable plan
Each module builds on the last, but the lessons stay short enough to pause, revisit, and use around real life.
Understanding Anxiety
Anxiety is one of the most universal human experiences, and one of the most misunderstood. This module doesn’t try to remove anxiety or explain it away. It builds the foundation everything else in this course rests on: what anxiety actually is, why it exists, when it starts to become a problem, how it relates to stress, and what’s happening in the body while it’s happening.

How Anxiety Develops and Persists
Module 1 established what anxiety is and why it exists. This module goes a layer deeper: how anxiety actually develops moment to moment in the brain and body, why it can become self-sustaining even once the original trigger has passed, and why people differ so much in how much of it they experience across a lifetime.

Worry, Thinking and Uncertainty
Modules 1 and 2 covered the emotional and physiological experience of anxiety. This module turns to its cognitive side — worry, thinking patterns, uncertainty and reassurance — the mental processes that often keep anxiety running long after the original trigger has passed, sometimes for hours, sometimes for years.

Common Forms of Anxiety
Modules 1–3 covered the processes that underpin anxiety in general — how it’s triggered, how it’s maintained, and how thinking patterns and uncertainty keep it going. This module looks at how those same underlying processes commonly present in recognisable, everyday forms, before drawing out what they all have in common in the final lesson.

Living with Anxiety
Modules 1–4 explained what anxiety is and how it commonly presents. This module turns to its everyday impact — on attention and decisions, relationships, work and education, sleep and lifestyle, and the factors that protect wellbeing even when anxiety is present in someone’s life.

Evidence-Informed Ways of Managing Anxiety
Modules 1–5 built understanding of anxiety — what it is, how it develops, how it commonly presents, and how it touches everyday life. This module turns to what the evidence actually says about addressing it: the main approaches, their underlying principles, what they genuinely claim and don’t claim, and when additional support becomes appropriate.

Integrating and Continuing
This final module brings everything together — integrating what you’ve learned across this entire course into your own ongoing understanding of yourself, expecting and responding well to setbacks, evaluating what has genuinely helped, and knowing where to go next once this course itself has finished.
